These panels generate around 2.4 GWh of renewable electricity a year. These are emissions our customers no longer cause — they are not deducted from Solmaior's own carbon footprint.
Estimate, calculated from the panels installed up to September 2026: 400 W average panel output; 1450 kWh generated per kWp installed per year on a well-oriented roof in mainland Portugal (PVGIS 5.3, European Commission, 2005-2023 series); 92 g CO₂e per kWh, the emission factor for electricity in mainland Portugal published by the Portuguese Environment Agency (2025 edition, 2023 data). Actual output depends on each roof's orientation, tilt and shading.

Solmaior supplied and installed Tesla Powerwalls at the Dunas Golf Course in Terras da Comporta. Solar energy produced during the day is stored and used when needed, increasing self-consumption and reducing grid dependence.

Yes, with the Backup Gateway 2, single-phase or three-phase. Without a battery, solar panels shut down for safety when the grid fails.
Yes. The Powerwall 3 is single-phase, and the three-phase Powerwall 3P has been available in Portugal since September 2026. Your connection type is on your electricity bill.
It depends on your inverter. The Powerwall 3 has a built-in inverter for up to 20 kW of panels and does not combine on the DC side with other brands' inverters; connecting existing panels is assessed case by case.
A 10-year Tesla warranty, with unlimited cycles in solar self-consumption. It requires an Internet connection; without one, the warranty is 4 years.
There is currently no open Fundo Ambiental call for homes. Panels, batteries and installation are charged VAT at 23%.
An installation up to 30 kW only needs a prior notice on the DGEG platform, at no cost. Only installations up to 800 W without grid export are exempt.
